OK, I had sooooo much fun this weekend in this class!!! I took a class at Mystic Paper from Lilia Meredith. She taught this adorable book, shaped like a house and made out of fabrics, ribbons, lace etc. Now I rushed in like a whirlwind cause I also had a wedding to attend, but I didn't want to miss this. Sewing machines were humming and scraps of fabric were everywhere. It is still unfinished and you can see the threads that still need clipping. Inside are paper pages that will of course have all kinds of embellishments. And there is still a bit more embellishing I need to do to the outside of my house. I will be posting my finished photos soon I hope!!!The wedding was beautiful. They had the reception at a barn in Florence. The barn which looked brand new was brought here from Wisconsin and since the bride is from Wisconsin, it was perfect. Wish I had taken my camera.
